Champagne Wishes and Caviar Dreams

was the presenting sponsor for our Charity Dinner Cruise aboard FantaSea Yacht Charters.
This annual event, "Champagne Wishes and Caviar Dreams", boarded at South Shore Harbour Resort at 3:30 in the afternoon and cruised around Clear Lake from 4 to 7 p.m. Tickets were $100 per person and included dinner, dancing, and an open bar. The fundraiser benefited the Jeanette Williams Foundation with proceeds going to The Rainbow Connection at Camp for All. The volunteer staff of The Rainbow Connection is made up of employees and students from The University of Texas Medical Branch and the surrounding community. For information on the wonderful effect of The Rainbow Connection on these children (and the staff), please take a look at this video.
Our goal this year was to send twenty Bay Area Houston children with cancer to camp in hopes that they will find the self-esteem and confidence they have lost as a result of their cancer treatment. We were very close and raised funds for 18. In addition, we had an anonymous donation for one additional child, and Margo Timmins provided us with an additional donation from the Silpada Jewelry show held for the Jeanette Williams Foundation at Baileys. So, when all was said and done, we were able to sponsor all twenty of these children.
We want to thank all our sponsors, live auction donors, and silent auction donors for their help in making this a wonderful event. Without them and all of those who attended and gave so lovingly from their hearts, we would never have been able to meet our goal.
